Chollala is much more than a sock brand. It's an explosion of colors , a nostalgic nod to the 80s and 90s, and above all, the fruit of the unbridled imagination of Cyril, a true street culture enthusiast. A child of the skate, video game and hip-hop generation, Cyril has always had a weakness for bold looks, retro vibes and unfailing originality .
Originally from the Swiss-German border (yes, the kind of place where you speak three languages before you even reach puberty) and now located at the gates of Lauragais , in Péchabou in Haute-Garonne , Cyril grew up between Swiss rigor and urban energy. Add to that a passion for rollerblading, DJing and a pronounced taste for abstract art, and you get a colorful personality, a bit like his socks !
But then, why socks? Because one day, Cyril got tired of having to spend €17 on a “fun” pair that wasn’t so fun. He saw a gap, an opportunity, a lack of audacity in this little piece of fabric that we hide (or not) at the bottom of our sneakers. The result? Chollala was born, with a clear mission: to put socks back at the center of the game.
